Blackheads

Blackhead or whitehead is a familiar term for what is medically called an open comedo. A comedo, the primary sign of acne, consists of a widened hair follicle filled with skin debris, bacteria, and oil called sebum. Blackheads are the result of clogged pores on the skin. Blackheads often become worse because of applying the inappropriate skin care products. When pores on our face get clogged with oil and left untreated, this can lead to inflammatory acnes.
